Stainless Steel 348 Sheets and Plates are primarily made up of chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–13%), and columbium (niobium), along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. The addition of niobium enhances resistance to carbide precipitation, boosting performance at higher temperatures. Mechanically, this alloy boasts impressive tensile strength, ductility, and toughness, even in harsh conditions. It has a tensile strength of about 550 MPa and a yield strength of around 240 MPa.
