Stainless Steel 422 Sheets and Plates are made up of about 12–14% chromium, 0.2–0.3% carbon, 0.5–1% molybdenum, 0.5–1% nickel, and the rest is iron. The material shows impressive mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of around 760 MPa, yield strength of 450 MPa, and an elongation of 20%.
