Stainless steel sanitary tubing is primarily manufactured from austenitic grades such as 304, 304L, 316, and 316L, containing iron, chromium (18–20%), nickel (8–12%), and molybdenum (2–3% in 316/316L) for enhanced corrosion resistance.
