Stainless Steel 409 Coils are ferritic stainless steels primarily made up of iron, along with 10.5–11.75% chromium and small amounts of carbon, manganese, nitrogen, and titanium. This unique blend provides solid oxidation and corrosion resistance, especially in mildly corrosive settings and high-temperature situations. Mechanically, Grade 409 offers a tensile strength ranging from 380 to 450 MPa, a yield strength between 170 and 240 MPa, and an elongation of about 20%.
