The AWS Class E320LR-16 Electrodes produced by Akor Stainless are low-carbon stainless steel electrodes crafted for welding alloys of similar makeup. They feature about 20–22% chromium, 33–37% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and very low carbon content (≤0.03%), which gives them remarkable resistance to intergranular corrosion and carbide precipitation. These electrodes boast impressive mechanical strength, with a tensile strength of around 550 MPa and a yield strength close to 350 MPa, all while maintaining excellent elongation and toughness. Their well-balanced composition ensures stability at high temperatures, resistance to oxidation, and a smooth weld bead appearance with minimal spatter.
